The free Magewell Cloud software provides centralized configuration and control of multiple Magewell IP encoders. (Two separate, premium Magewell Cloud versions – MC50 and MC150 -- also offer stream management features including SRT relay and protocol conversion.)

While Magewell streaming and IP conversion solutions all have their own intuitive user interfaces, customers with multiple Magewell devices or systems integrators supporting Magewell solutions across several end-user installations may wish to manage them all remotely from a single dashboard.

Beyond the efficiency and convenience of centralized management, Magewell Cloud is ideal for enabling technical personnel to remotely manage devices on behalf of less-experienced users.

Magewell Cloud supports remote management of all of Magewell’s current hardware solutions for streaming and IP conversion including the Ultra Stream family of live streaming and recording appliances; the Ultra Encode series of universal live media encoders; and the Pro Convert portfolio of encoders and decoders for bridging traditional video and audio signals with IP media networks using NDI® technology and other popular protocols.

The basic version of Magewell Cloud is offered free of charge for installation on an on-premises server or cloud hosting platform. Linux® is the recommended operating system for Magewell Cloud installations, but the software is also compatible with Windows® and MacOS®.
